A panda walks into a restaurant. He orders his meal and eats it. He then gets up, draws a gun, and shoots it in the air. Then he turns to leave. The waiter asks what he is doing.

The panda looks at him and says, “I am a panda. Look it up in the dictionary.” The panda gives the waiter a dictionary and leaves.

The waiter opens the dictionary and reads: “Panda – a large black and white Asian mammal. Eats, shoots and leaves.”

Everyone get it?

What does this mean? Basically I’m going to be writing fewer small comment posts and more actual articles. I’ve got four series planned out right now.

First, most readers should be familiar with the Take a Stand articles, where I define a position and (sometimes feebly) attempt to defend it. I’ve tried to make this weekly in the past, but have been lazy. I’m going to make this attempt again. The Take a Stand articles will be posted on Fridays.

The next series I’m going to introduce is called Christ and Culture. This set of articles can involve politics, education, world events, anything and everything. I’m going to try and analyze what takes place in our society and compare that to a Christian worldview. This will also be weekly, publishing on Mondays.

Critical Mass is going to be an irregular series of movie and DVD reviews. You may have already seen my recent review of Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, which was the first in this series. I’m writing these mainly for the Youth Ministry Exchange, but I’m going to post them here as well. I’ll have reviews in the coming months for Ratatouille and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, plus there may be some others as well.

I’ll throw in some Music and Meaning posts every once in a while, but I’ll have to find something that captures my imagination that isn’t Delirious?. I’m sure everyone is tired of hearing about them. I can’t help it.
