Ok, now that I’ve got the mandatory part of this post out of the way, I’ll explain why I did it. Logos Bible Software really is awesome. I’ve been using it since the beginning of last summer for my seminary classes, and I’ve already found it to be an indispensable resource. This is especially true for an online student who doesn’t have ready access to a large library of theological books and commentaries. Is it expensive? Yes, though that depends on which version you buy. As a seminary student I got a pretty steep discount on it, but it’s still not in the $9.99 bin at Best Buy. What you pay for is high quality. I’m running it on Windows, on my iPhone, and on my iPad. The iPad version is phenomenal because I can take my entire study library with me anywhere I go.

So, while this is a shameless plug in order to possibly win something through their contest, I really do recommend Logos for any serious Bible student.

Oh, and Logos, if you’re reading this, I would preer to have the MacBook Pro. I’ve already got an iPad, don’t need a Touch, and would like to have my Mac portable so I can use it in places other than the house. Thanks!
