OK, this day has become quite a bit more joyous now. Since this morning, we have made the following decisions:
- We are going to get two new female beagle puppies. The kids have already named them Tinkerbell (Ashlee) and Padme (Alex).
- We are canceling a family trip we had planned to Walt Disney World and instead spending a week in Kansas with my parents. Before, just Collette and the kids were going to stay for a week, but now we are all going.
- Still spending Christmas at home, as a family but with two new members.
It just shows that Lilly Belle was such a great dog, it will take two puppies to take her place. They aren't replacing her, just moving in to be pals with Disney and the kids. Oh alright, and Collette and I too. I just hope one of them is as snuggly and soft as Boo was.
Now we can have a birthday. I'm happier.
