Well, it’s classic to me anyway. It seems that the new trend is to take old video game themes and turn them in to some kind of music. This kid plays nearly every theme from Super Mario Bros. on the piano. I would think that he has some kind of training because he’s really, really good. He plays the whole thing without music and throughout the 10 minute video, I can’t hear a single mistake.
I’ve heard people do this same music as an acapella choir, with acoustic and electric guitar, and now this. It’s actually pretty cool if you’re familiar with the games and the music.
