Why the name?

I’m sure some people are wondering why the title of this blog is
Prophetic Musings. I muse, but am not particularly prophetic. Here is
my explanation.

I’ve always been fascinated with Biblical prophecy. It’s interesting to
me how God gifted some people in history with the ability to see what
was going to happen. Revelation is one of the wild reads in all of
history, not just the Bible. Nearly all it contains is prophecy of the
end times. It’s also one of the more controversial books too. The
prophets were also some of the most dedicated people of God on this
planet. They questioned God and received answers straight from the
source. I admire the prophets to a point that I’ve named my network and
all my computers after different prophets in the Bible. My business is
named SkyProphet as well, but that’s another conversation.

Now, do I consider myself a prophet? Absolutely NOT. I no more have the
hot line to God than anyone else. I just think that using the word
“Prophetic” in the title gives it a certain mystery, and it betrays my
own Christian feelings so that people who might stumble on to this site
aren’t going to be mislead by what I say.

So, there you have it. If you want any more explanation, you’ll have to either leave a comment or send me an email.
